Please review the following policies before submitting a boarding or daycare reservation request.
All dogs must have current vaccination records on file before attending boarding or daycare. Records must be uploaded during booking or provided before the scheduled stay.
Please disclose whether your dog is spayed or neutered during booking. Certain dogs may require additional review depending on age, behavior, temperament, and compatibility with other dogs.
Standard boarding drop-off is 12:00 PM. Earlier or later drop-off times may be accommodated when arranged in advance.
Daycare drop-off is available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Other drop-off times may be accommodated when arranged in advance.
Pickup times should be arranged in advance. Please contact Serenity K9s as soon as possible if your pickup time changes.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a reservation. All boarding and daycare requests are reviewed by Serenity K9s and are not confirmed until approved.
Payment is due on or before the first day of services unless another arrangement has been approved in advance. Failure to pay may result in services being withheld, suspended, or terminated. Any applicable late or cancellation fee will be communicated before it is charged.
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible when cancelling or changing a reservation or training appointment. Late cancellations, inadequate notice, repeated no-shows, or repeated last-minute changes may result in a cancellation fee and may affect future booking availability.
Dogs showing signs of contagious illness, including vomiting, diarrhea, persistent coughing, or other concerning symptoms, may not be accepted for boarding, daycare, or training. Owners are responsible for providing accurate health information and notifying Serenity K9s of any recent illness.
Dogs must arrive free of fleas and ticks. If parasites are discovered during a stay, treatment or additional cleaning fees may apply.
All medications must be clearly labeled with the dog's name and complete dosage instructions. Owners are responsible for providing enough medication for the entire stay or service period.
Owners should provide enough food for the entire stay along with clear feeding instructions. Food should be labeled with the dog's name.
Owners must disclose any known history of aggression, biting, reactivity, resource guarding, escape behavior, destructive behavior, unusual triggers, muzzle requirements, or other behavioral concerns. Serenity K9s may modify, restrict, or discontinue services if a dog presents a safety risk to people, other animals, or property.
Serenity K9s uses training methods intended to fit the individual dog's needs, temperament, and learning style. While we work toward each owner's training goals, no specific behavioral outcome can be guaranteed. Owners are responsible for providing accurate information about their dog's behavior and following handling or training guidance provided by Serenity K9s.
Owners are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge regarding their dog's medical history, medications, behavior, aggression triggers, bite history, escape tendencies, and special handling requirements. Failure to disclose important medical or behavioral information may result in refusal or termination of services and may make the owner responsible for resulting expenses or property damage where permitted by law.
If a medical emergency, illness, injury, or other urgent condition occurs, Serenity K9s will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner or emergency contact. If the owner cannot be reached in a reasonable amount of time and veterinary treatment is reasonably necessary for the dog's health or safety, the owner authorizes Serenity K9s to seek emergency veterinary care. The owner remains responsible for reasonable veterinary expenses incurred on the dog's behalf.
Serenity K9s is not equipped with an on-site fire suppression sprinkler system. Owners acknowledge that they have been informed of this condition before boarding their dog.
Dogs receive routine care, exercise, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring; however, there may be periods during a boarding stay when staff are working elsewhere on the property or off-site and no staff member is physically present with the dogs. By using boarding services, owners acknowledge and accept that their dog may be unattended during portions of the stay.
Owners understand that boarding, daycare, handling, and dog training involve inherent risks, including the possibility of injury, illness, escape, property damage, or interactions with other animals. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, owners agree to release and hold harmless Serenity K9s, its owners, employees, and agents from claims arising from ordinary risks associated with the services, except to the extent caused by gross negligence, willful misconduct, or where such a release is prohibited by law.
Owners may be responsible for excessive damage caused by their dog to facility property, equipment, kennels, leashes, training equipment, or other items beyond normal wear, where permitted by law.
Owners may provide approved bedding, toys, food containers, or other personal items. Serenity K9s is not responsible for normal wear, damage, or loss of personal items during a dog's stay.
Permission to use photographs or video recordings of a dog for promotional, marketing, advertising, website, social media, newsletter, brochure, flyer, digital, or print purposes is voluntary. No compensation or royalties are paid for approved use. Personal information such as an owner's address, phone number, or other private contact information will not be published without additional consent.
Serenity K9s will make reasonable efforts to keep owner personal information confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as reasonably necessary to provide services, obtain veterinary care, process a requested transaction, or comply with applicable law.
Owners are responsible for providing accurate phone, email, and emergency contact information and should remain reachable during their dog's stay whenever possible.
Serenity K9s is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or inability to perform services caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, utility failures, epidemics, or other emergencies. Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate with affected clients.
By submitting a boarding or daycare request through the Serenity K9s website and checking the policy agreement box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies listed on this page.
